First-session walkthrough

Your first visual memory.
From one real session.

Start with a short, low-risk recording. The goal is not to capture everything: it is to retrieve one useful piece of visual context you would otherwise need to reconstruct.

  1. 01

    Install the Mac app

Download the signed installer, open the .pkg, and follow the macOS installer prompts. The Voice Input helper is part of the installation.

  2. 02

Approve only the access you intend to use

VibeLogger needs Screen Recording for visual capture and Microphone for voice. Approve Speech Recognition if prompted. macOS may require a relaunch after changing a permission.

  3. 03

Record a short, non-sensitive coding session

Open the Capture view, choose your inputs, and spend a minute reproducing an issue or explaining a browser workflow. Avoid secrets, passwords and private windows in your first recording.

  4. 04

Revisit the transcript and screen evidence

End the capture and open the completed session. Review playback, timeline and transcript; use search to find the relevant moment.

  5. 05

Try an evidence-backed question or test draft

With a configured AI provider or compatible local model, ask about a decision and inspect the linked source. For a browser walkthrough, create a draft and review the generated artifact before using it.
